Format sheet / Rigid boxes / Rev. 2026.10

A structural first impression, built on greyboard.

A rigid box holds its shape before it is opened. We engineer the shell, wrap allowance, closure, and insert as one assembly, then finish the surface as a separate production step.

Structure

How the format is built.

Built for beauty, fragrance, electronics, and premium gifting programs where shelf presence and repeatable hand-feel matter.

Wrapped greyboard shell

1.5–2.5 mm greyboard is cut, grooved, and hand-wrapped with a 157–200 gsm printed sheet. Turn-in margins are set to protect the print at every corner.

Lid and base fit

Friction-fit, necked lid, or concealed magnet. We hold a 2–4 mm reveal on standard lids; tighter reveals are specified only where the wrap and board allow.

Product platform

Paperboard, EVA, molded pulp, or thermoformed inserts are drawn from the product envelope, not dropped in after the box is approved.

Assembled, not flat

Rigid boxes ship assembled with tissue interleaving and export cartons sized to the finished unit. Freight volume is quoted before the structure is locked.

Best for beauty, fragrance, electronics, premium gifting. Send the product envelope and pack weight; we will confirm the board call before quoting.

Spot UV

Gloss or raised UV on coated stock. Supplied with a dedicated screen or digital spot file.

Emboss / deboss
